This photograph was taken at the Tasman Glacier in New Zealand. It shows a tourist boat near the shore. Tourists have landed to explore the area. There are icebergs in the glacier lake and not much snow about. I believe this photo was taken in March 2005 so it is only autumn in New Zealand. I guess this area would be blanketed in snow around June and July in mid-winter. It is surprising how dirty the water is and I don't know what causes this. Perhaps it has recently been raining.
