A fur seal snoozes with a nice rock for a pillow. The snow-covered Kaikoura mountain range of New Zealand can be seen in the background. The Kaikoura area of New Zealand is well-known for whale watching. There are many tourist operations in the area such as boats that will take you to sea to view whales in their natural environment. I think Kaikoura means (Kai > food) and (Koura > creyfish or lobster) in Maori. So the area was considered bountiful in terms of sea food especially creyfish.
